No quiz. Just the day.
A personality quiz measures how you answered today. Your birthday cannot be answered differently on a bad morning, which is the whole point.
What gets computed
Four Marks: year, month, day and hour. Each Mark is a stem above a branch. Your Type is read from the Month Mark, which the tradition weights above all the others.

Example: 18 August 1992, 07:00. The month command 戊申 hides 壬, which stands openly in the year and hour stems, so the structure is 七殺格 and the type is SEVEN.
The year turns at 立春
Not 1 January. If you were born in late January you probably belong to the previous solar year, and most quick calculators get this wrong.
The month follows the sun
Months are cut by solar terms, not by the calendar. We compute the sun’s apparent longitude for your moment of birth and read the month from that.
The type is a structure, not a build
Most tools hand you your build, which other tools call your Day Master, and call it your type. It is not. Your build is what you are made of; the structure, taken from the month, is how you run. Two people with the same build routinely operate nothing alike.
The day turns at 23:00
Born at 23:30 and your Day Mark has already moved on. This only matters once you give us an hour, which is why the hour is free.
